Yes everything will be there. Walk to the beach for a quick ceremony then back to the house to party.

That makes sense! That's still plenty of time to be apart on the day of the wedding.

Very cool! Are you staying apart for logistics reasons? Or to follow the tradition? Or both?

I love the way you chose your wedding date! And wow, that does sound like super peaceful scenery, and a perfect spot for a first look! Those photos will turn out beautiful.

There is nothing wrong with being traditional or superstitious! I think it's really neat when people have a tradition that they want to follow. Staying apart will make your walk down the aisle even more special than it already is!

My significant other and my self may or may not being spending the night together, I have no idea. My boys plan on giving him a big Bachelor party. So it depends on the turn out of that event.

I can totally see how staying apart would make it more exciting to see each other on the wedding day! And that's such a sweet comment from the car driver, I'm sure it set a positive tone heading into the ceremony!

I think that's awesome that you both made the decision to wait to be together until after your wedding! That will make seeing each other on the wedding day even more special than it already is. Are you doing a first look before the ceremony? Or will the first time you see her be as she's walking down the aisle?

We have talked about it and we will be staying the night together. Although the day of may be hectic and after we get dressed we won’t be seeing each other until right before.

Negative. The first time I'll see her in her wedding dress is when the chapel doors open and she's walking down the aisle with her dad. I've taken special precautions to make sure I've never seen her dress in any pictures or her fitting into it. I want to be awe-struck. I want my joy to be as organic as it can be. ;-)

No, I will be hanging out with my bridesmaid the night before after rehearsal and he will be with his guys. The day of the wedding I will talk to him on the phone but I will not let him see me until time for the ceremony. We have a suite for the night of wedding, just the 2 of us.

Lol, a similar reason that my fiance and I are staying together the night before our wedding! We also didn't want to pay for an extra hotel room, and neither of us felt strongly enough about this tradition, that we decided to just stay together.

I feel like this is a topic that's easy to forget about when planning! This was something my fiance and I hadn't really discussed until we were booking hotel rooms for our wedding.

Awesome that you love the tradition! Champagne and time with family sounds like such a fun way to spend the night before the wedding. And it's very considerate of you to have the extra room available for the next night in case someone else needs it!
