Are you and your future spouse spending the night before your wedding away from each other? Or staying together?

Oh my gosh, a Disney wedding!! That is so magical! Super early for a first look though, lol. Did you get to pick the time for your ceremony? The photos from the photo shoot in the park will definitely turn out incredible!

Haha, it might be difficult to be away from your fiance for that night, but it'll be fun for you to spend more time with your wedding party!

Yes! We did morning because of the heat and less chances for rain. But either way, the park shoot would have been at 6am since the park starts letting people in at 8am!

We are staying apart. All the girls will be at the venue and all of the guys will be at our house (which is only 20 minutes away). This way I can spend some time with my girls who are very important to me and we can have a girls night and he can do the same with his guys. We are doing a chill joint Bach weekend so this is our separate time.

That sounds like a wonderful plan! Staying apart the night before will make the moment you see each other at the altar even more special than it already is.

Very cool that you're following the tradition! What other wedding traditions are you following as well?

My fiance and I also decided to stay together the night before our wedding! We didn't want to have to pay for two hotel rooms, and neither of us didn't feel strongly enough about following the tradition.

Nothing wrong at all with being traditional! I think it's awesome that you are following it. What other traditions are you incorporating into your wedding?

I love the idea of an Airbnb by a lake! Super relaxing and peaceful scenery, which will be nice for the night before the wedding. And lol, bummer for your fiance at the hotel! 😂 Though I'm sure he'll end up enjoying the extra time with his family.

Not much. Going to do something different than a wedding reception. Everyone will get food to eat and dance floor at the barn. But we have a bit of a surprise after that for everyone. Still thinking about if we should tell them or not.

Our first time seeing each other will be at the alter but I know I will be communicating with him the night before and the morning of. I want him seeing me come down the aisle to be a "wow" moment for him. Are you doing a first look? Are you doing your photos before the ceremony or after?

Future husband and myself have not talked about being apart. We have lived together for six years going on seven. For the last year he has worked a lot out of town. I work in the medical field, my hours are long. So we spend every moment together as possible. He is not superstitious; but I need to ask now. Curiosity???

Totally makes sense! It's a similar scenario for my fiance and me. We didn't want to pay for two separate hotel rooms and neither of us felt strongly enough about this tradition to follow it, so we decided to just stay together the night before our wedding. I love the idea of doing a mini vacation to unwind in the days after the wedding and before the honeymoon!

Ooh, good call on the weather being better in the morning! I would not have thought of that, lol. I hope you post a BAM after your wedding, I'd love to hear how everything turns out!
