Wedding the same date as my parents Anniversary

My FH and I will be getting married June 20th, 2022. We wanted June 18th but afterwards booking our dates and paying our deposit the booking agent later told me that our date wasn’t available. They offered us the 20th and my fiancé excitedly excepted that day saying it was only two days afterwards the date that we wanted. Anyways afterwards thinking about the date I realized it was my parents’ anniversary day. It seems weird to me and I feel selfish or something 😓 I just want everyone to be happy

I don't think it's that a big deal. My husband's parents and grandparents actually have the same anniversary day.

I also don’t see the issue. I think it’s kind of sweet to share an anniversary with your parents.

I just attended a wedding on a Monday because the groom wanted his anniversary to be the same as his parents.

I personally think it’s a beautiful thing afterwards reading on it but my family has been making me feel weird about it. My Fiancé who picked the date thought it would make them happy with him making me his wife for their anniversary as well afterwards noticing the date

My friend got married on her parent's anniversary and one set of her grandparent's anniversary. She has an adorable picture with each couple's wedding photos on a tree. I think it's sweet.
