There might be a couple little things we come up with later, but this is an idea of what we have so far.Wedding Theme 1This is our Save the Dates. Also planning on using a reply card with a cassette tape for song requests. And we might choose a couple of songs off the Guardians soundtrack, my fiancé likes a lot of those 80s songs and I’m letting him take the lead with music, because I am clueless on that front.

This is my centerpiece rough draft, each table will have a different character. Original plan was to name the tables after the different movies, but I think this way will be easier.
    Wedding Theme 3
We’re using MarvelousMios for our hashtag and website.
    Wedding Theme 4
Not ordered yet, but I’m hoping to get a cake topper similar to this with the Marvel intro on the tv and maybe a hidden Spiderman peeking out the bottom of the cake.
    Wedding Theme 5
My fiancé picked out this ring.
    Wedding Theme 6
And I’m making lego boutonnières similar to the ones above. Groomsmen will probably also have socks and undershirts for a couple of pictures.

For our DW, we included some Disney "Pirates of the Caribbean" into the reception.

Our local reception was a "swanky 50's/60's" vibe with black, white and polka dot color palette.

We’re having a destination wedding weekend in Vegas. Our venue was the last one we toured, but it was immediately perfect and the colors inside are significant to FH and I. The venue is inside of the hotel/casino and was a former nightclub with a 1920s/speakeasy decor and vibe. I hadn’t planned on a theme but recently one semi-evolved based on 1.) the wedding being in Vegas 2.)the venue’s pre-existing style and now 3.) our new postponed date of 10/30/21. The term “Vintage Vegas Hallowedding” came to mind. So I guess that’s the theme 🤷🏽‍♀️😆.

When you enter the venue, it very obviously speaks for itself. So we aren’t adding much extra decor because it’s not needed. Our original STD, our change the date cards and future invitations have a vintage style and gives our guests a hint at what’s to come. We are also having some fun entertainment during cocktail hour and at the end of dinner, as a nod to Vegas (no, not Elvis)😝. Our original 10/10/20 wedding wasn’t going to include anything “Fall” or “Halloween” related. But with the new 10/30/21 date, I’m planning to add one consistent Halloween-ish element (mini white pumpkins) and use them sparingly in a few in different areas like: next to the guestbook, on the bar and on guests tables. There are other fun details and plans, but that’s the general overall theme. I’m SO excited!!!!

This is an example of our invitation style:

Ours is going to be a simple fall theme! We’re getting married in October, which is our favorite month. We both love fall and all of the fall colors.

My first idea for a theme was Vampire, I know it sounds crazy but the concept of a love that can be eternal.I wasn’t sure how to execute that black and red colors, Victorian, the colors I love but the fashion for a Victorian style wedding, not exactly me.

Then I thought Beauty and the Beast, red roses are my favorite flower, but the rest of the colors I don’t like.
Finally it hit me Cinderella, we got engaged at the show and blue is his favorite color.

Ours is a greenhouse theme! Lots of green and white/cream, green plants, glass... basically as if someone was stepping into a greenhouse.

We don't necessarily have a theme, but the overall aesthetic is a mix of modern and romantic styles. The color palette is Navy, Lilac, Silver and Ivory along with added greenery to give everything a more romantic look. Centerpieces will be candles at different heights and some small florals. Our ceremony is outside so we are just doing white rose petals to line the aisle and then the chuppah will be decorated with flowers, greenery and some light drapery. We will also have acryllic signs and seating chart to add more simplistic modern touches.
