Wedding Timeline Help! 4 ceremony Yes first look - no bridal party - all at same venue

Kaylani, on March 31, 2024 at 2:30 PM Posted in Planning 0 2
I need help planning a ceremony…I am at a complete loss…We will have the ceremony and reception at the same venue which is helpful and we also plan to get ready in said venue. Ceremony is planned to start at 4pm. Yes I want a first look with my groom and my father. After the ceremony we plan to go right into the reception where we will have finger foods. At this time I’m not sure whom will all speak- no DJ we will do our own music. I would like to have the event done no later than 9pm.

When will the dinner be served? That's a good time to have people do speeches. Do you have a microphone organized for that?

Our wedding will be similar. It will be held at a nature park. We will have the ceremony and reception/ brunch afterwards. While we are with the photographer, there will be hor'dourves and non- alcoholic drinks for our guests. Our closest friends will be speaking. We aren't having a large wedding, only have 35 guests are attending. I did hire a wedding planner towards the end of the planning process because I began to get very stressed out. She made me feel comfortable by telling me that we had did most of the work. By the time I hired her we only needed decorations. I think this website is awesome with planning/ ideas and I wish I had found out about it when I first got engaged. One mistake I made was telling our plans to some close family members, which kept telling me what we should do or what we couldn't do. It began to be so stressful that I stopped regularly communicating with them and they aren't invited to the wedding.
