Wedding timeline

Hi everyone !
I am working on making a wedding timeline and looking for help to see if I’m atleast semi on the right track. I know it will take more specific discussions with vendors but trying to get a general idea in my head. I feel uncertain that I am leaving enough time for each activity. Any thoughts on the timeline / what you would change would be appreciated!

3:30 - Ceremony arrival time (time on invitations)

3:45-4:15 - Ceremony

4:15- 5:25 - Bridal party and family photos

5:25- 5:55 - couple Travel time

5:55-6:25 - Couple golden hour photos

6:00- 7:00 - Cocktail hour at carousel with appetizers. Bride and groom attend 6:30-7:00

7:00-7:10: Guest seated

7:10-7:20: Intros and first dance

7:20: Start serving dinner / Welcome speech

8:00-8:10: Toasts

8:10-8:20: parent dances

8:20: open dance floor / photobooth opens

9:00: Cake cutting / open deserts

10:00: bouquet toss / late night snack

11:20- grand exit (sparklers)

11:30 - reception ends

I know there will be some questions around in-between time of ceremony and reception so I will go ahead and answer that now : Our guests will have about an hour between ceremony and cocktail hour (after travel time between the two spaces). We know this is not ideal but many guests will be able to go back to their hotel as it’s in between the two venues and we will include on our wedding website a list of local places to go if desired in between. We can not really shorten the in between time because 1. We do not want to do a first look so photos can not be before the ceremony and 2. We want to be at half of the cocktail hour because we are renting a courasel for it (carousel is attached to the reception venue) and want to experience that part of our day!

Seems good to me! Just make sure you have your wedding planner or day of coordinator in on this too so they can help you keep track of time Smiley smile
