It's not too early to start booking 2024 as 2023 is mostly booked already. The very first thing you need to do is set a budget, then book a venue (there is no date until there's a venue). Everything after that can wait a bit. There are plenty of wedding timelines available online.

Also it is helpful to have an idea of the number of guests you would have. Your choices are affected by the number of people you plan to have. You can also consider whether a Friday or Sunday (or other day of the week) would be reasonable -- if the desired venues are too costly otherwise.

It is never too early! I would recommend making a budget and figuring out your guest count before you do anything. Venues will ask how many people you plan on having and they often have minimums. After you determine the budget and guest count, you can start to look for venues. Venues often have a list of preferred vendors that they can recommend to you.

Once you have a budget and guest count in mind, you can for sure start looking at venues right away. I'd recommend to have a break down of your budget for the individual items like catering, bar service, rentals, etc. because some venues may have some of those services included. Depending on the price and what part of your budget that would include, it may be cheaper or more expensive to book certain venues over others. From there, you can use any of the online timelines to start booking other things.
