Recently engaged and Looking to be Wed in January. Since its so short notice, Im really trying to work a miracle. I believe its possible just not sure how to make it simple but sweet. My soon to be isnt too much worried about the whole wedding thing, he wants the Date. I on the other hand want to walk down an aisle, exchange vows & say "I do". I dont need no big ol wedding but I want something memorable with those close to me. Any suggestions on how we can pull this off would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You

DIY, small guest list, buy as many second hand things as possible, cut back on as much as possible (like don't go for huge bouquets, rather buy grocery store flowers, etc).

Keep it small and intimate. Minimal bridal party if any. Is there family to help with food? This is a great opportunity to use your resources Smiley winking

Julia, there is a place called The Tea Barn at Fair Hill that you should look into. It's an old racetrack with this really cute barn. They charge $400 for the entire weekend as a reception site. I think it's another $125 to use the outdoors. I debated about this place, but ultimatly choose somewhere closer. I understand being on a budget. I'd be suprised it we spent more than $3,000 on ours. Very do it yourself! lol
