So I just got off the phone with the decorator for our venue, she has another wedding the next day at my venue and was wondering if we minded if they hung the window draping's on Friday(before my wedding). The reason being, she wanted to do them herself and wasn't going to be there to decorate for...

What does this mean you ask?

This means that I get just over $1,000 worth of window draping for FREE!!!!!(it was something I wanted for the wedding but I couldn't justify the price).

So tell me ladies, have you got any upgrades free of charge, or has anyone given you anything for free?

My photographer gave us a huge discount because she had shot my college senior portraits and we are getting married in her off season. We also got our cake at no cost because a woman from my church is making it.

The place I am using charges for both reception and cerimony sites. Normally you have to pay for both, but they are letting me do both and not charge anything extra for the cerimony at the reception site.

Our photographer is only charging us the price for her elopement package but shooting the wedding and reception both. She is a good friend of ours though.

Venue for FREE because my mom used to manage the place. And it's a freaking amazing ballroom- we're so lucky!

ETA: We're getting out liquor "at cost," as a favor from my mom's former business partner, who still manages our venue. Yay!

Since we cannot use glass of any kind at our venue and we must use plastic plates and glasses our caterer is providing gold chargers for free to class up the tables. I was so super excited.

Our DJ had just added a photobooth to his package and if I booked with him he offered me 2 hour photobooth for free!!!

I got a complimentary suite the night of the wedding and asked if I could also have a suite for my mom and they said, sure why not.
