I would think a college campus would be more open. You're right, discrimination of any kind is not okay!

This is truly disgusting! When FH and I was looking for our venue and vendors, we looked real hard to make sure they all worked with interracial couples in the past. We live in GA and the stares are real! We did not want to work or run into individuals like this! My heart goes out to the couple and anyone who has ever dealt with this while planning or in everyday life.

Theres nothing in the bible about interracial couples as far as I can remember.

I hate that bigots have been getting bolder and bolder recently. As a queer person in an interracial relationship (I’m white, she’s filipino, and we’re both cisgender women), there’s so much extra anxiety that goes in to just existing as a couple. We’ve had issues (not with vendors, but with people we’ve worked for down to strangers on the street) even where we live in San Francisco, so I can’t imagine how hard it is elsewhere.

1 Peter 4:8 — “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

That is awful. I personally don’t experience any discrimination, however recently I was trying to find someone on Etsy that would do Hers & Hers wine glasses for my MOH & I was disgusted in so many of their responses. I finally found one, that did an amazing job & she disclosed that she was going to make them for her & her wife once they are married.

That is so sad and not right. This should not be allowed.

That makes me grind my teeth in frustration! One way to get back at them without them knowing it was you would be to do exactly what you started here: Let everyone know how closed minded they are. If you have any other social media outlets at your disposal, post about them, encourage your friends & family to post similarly. This could be the start of a present day boycott! Get the word out & don't shut up! You GO!!

Seriously crazy!! I saw this too and it seriously hurts my heart.. I could go on and on about this but I’m glad (by the looks of this post) I’m not alone with my thoughts! I wish you and your future hubby years of love and happiness!!

This is so sad. That’s terrible not only to put the couple through that but to actually enforce. It makes me angry. I’m so glad my fh and I have not had this experience or anything like it with me being Hispanic and him being mixed.

Wow this makes me so upset! I am a child of interracial love & also repeating that cycle with my FH I think it’s a great thing when interracials fall in love. This makes me so sick. And unfortunately I’m not even surprised based on the state........

It's absolutely horrible to hide discrimination behind religion.

That Venue should be boycott. Regardless
what color you are and who you are. This
place should go out! of business.
It's so sad. First of all that is not CHRISTIAN!
Fake bible fake christians.
I agree who wants to do business with them.
But, they're officially on notice.

I agree! Jesus didn't discriminate. The venue owner should be ashamed of herself for saying it was her "religion".

I'm a child of interracial parents too! FH and I live in the South, but we're planning on moving away from it soon
