Wedding venue

For $1000 I would get married at a courthouse or park and then take immediate family and a few close friends out to dinner in the private room of a restaurant. Where are you located?

I would recommend a park or a local community center. If you can find a beautiful outdoors spot that has tables and a view you can do your wedding there for cheap. Unfortunately I don't think you'll be able to find a spot for that price that includes food or anything. I'd recommend maybe having a cake and punch reception without a big meal, or a super cheap meal like pizza.
