I am stressing out! We're paying for our wedding ourselves and as time gets closer to the wedding date, I stress out. I feel like it's cheaper to go to a venue vs doing our own wedding. We live in the Danville area (Virginia), so if anyone has had a wedding near the area, could you please tell me who's the cheapest vender. Or if you have had to pay for your own wedding, what did you do? I am stressing out and hoping someone could help! Thank you in advance!!!

    I did a side job to save money for the wedding. I also scoured sales and cut out things I didn't find necessary such as flowers. Florists and flowers cost a lot :x

    That’s a bit tricky since $2000 isn’t much to even feed people with. You’ll probably want to look into a place like park with a nice pavilion or something, where the rental fee for the space isn’t high. You should check with Mexican and Italian restaurants for catering for food, because those tend to be the least expensive (and it could be done buffet style). Alternately, what might be simplest, is to just get married at a restaurant. Find a place that will let you rent a private room and just have your wedding there! My friend did this and it was inexpensive and lovely.
