Wedding Website Covid-19 plans notification

Olivia, on March 30, 2020 at 8:28 PM Posted in Account Support 0 2
Hello,

Does anyone know if Wedding Wire is offering options to select verbiage to our websites to update guests about wedding plans during this virus (cancellation notice, pending decision, rescheduled dates)?

HI! Hi there, so sorry you are going through this too, you're not alone! This is my wording for our decision to postpone, it is on our website (we used minted) under a new "UPDATES" tab i added:

    PLEASE SAVE OUR (NEW) DATE

    "Dear Family and Friends:

We've been watching the coronavirus situation very closely, and out of concern for the health of our guests, we've made the painful decision to postpone our wedding in accordance with the CDC guidelines.
We hope you'll be able to celebrate with us on our new date: Saturday, July 17th, 2021.

Please understand that this heartbreaking decision is one we never expected to have to make, but it is nowhere near as heartbreaking as the idea of putting our loved ones at risk.

When it comes down to it, marriage is a commitment and a wedding is a party that can be rescheduled, so that is the route we have decided to take.

    Moving Forward:

    - The only change made to our wedding is the new date. All other details including the venue location and ceremony start time remains the same.

    - Please submit your new RSVP here on our website to confirm you are aware of the date change and are able to celebrate with us!"
