Wedding Website Issues

Emily, on July 7, 2020 at 10:44 AM Posted in Account Support 0 6

Has anyone else been having issues with guests trying to search for your wedding website? I have contacted WeddingWire twice in the last two months and they have yet to resolve the issue. The only way to access my wedding website is to type in the full domain. If you search my name or my fiances name our website and registry do not show up.

Any one have suggestions on how to fix this??

I don’t use WW for my website, but I know mine had a setting that would make it searchable or not searchable. There has to be done setting that’s keeping it hidden unless the full domain name is entered.

No idea. I've had issues with mine awhile back. Even after I thought I deleted to make a new one, I can't make a new one. It keeps saying "oops" so I gave up on it. Over half the people on here don't even use WW for their website.

If you still have issues and don't get any answers, I would say just find another site to make your website. I used Wix and I know a lot of others used The Knot, Zola, With Joy, etc. Good luck!

I should of went with a different website but I don't want to get a new one because I already put this site on my bridal shower invites, and RSVPs! My wedding is September 6th so its too soon to switch. It is just frustrating because so many people are having a hard time getting on the website (even though I have the whole domain spelled out on the invites lol!)

I’ve been testing my wedding website out for certain things for example when guests will RSVP. I tested with my sisters name and it would not pull her up. If it’s not an exact search for it like meaning if you don’t put a capital at the beginning of the first name and a capital at the beginning of the last name, the name will not pull up. Just little things like that, that I’m debating If I should probably just get a minted wedding website insteadBecause I know a lot of my guests, especially the guys will probably either type in their nickname or something and it probably won’t go so well

I tried mine capital/no capital and it doesnt come up. The first few months I had my website it worked fine and then out of no where (I didn't change any of the settings) it stopped working.. My future sister-in-law is getting married two weeks before me and she has a weddingwire website too and she has no issues with hers.
