Wedding website necessary?

Is a wedding website necessary? I wasn't planning on making one, but notice a lot of you ladies have one. Anyone else not providing your guests with one? If you do have one, what was the main reason you made it?

No. I wasn't going to make one originally but our caterer strongly suggested it. So I tried it out and LOVE it!! I am so glad I did it!

Not necessary but yeah I have 1300 viewsafter I reset it in August when it had like over 500 views. We are inviting like 120 people so it's def getting traffic. So I don't regret it in our case. I also it's saving me money on inserts for the wedding cuz the details are all there. Lots of OOT guests for us. We are having guests from 3 continents and 6 countries coming.

I don't want one because if i didn't know about them before starting wedding planning, i'm pretty sure 95% of my guests have never heard of them either. i can't imagine anyone looking at them. plus i like the traditional paper format.

I did one so my guests would have all the information they need since everyone is traveling. It was easy and free since I created one on here.

If you have a lot of out of town guests that'll need info about accommodations and travel it could be useful, other wise it's totally fine to skip.

We did one in lieu of save the dates. Also it helps to have the directions to the venue and a link for the hotel reservations.
