Wedding website registry problems

I am having this issue now too. I sent an email to support because I would rather just have my 2 retail options show up on my website instead of the wedding wire registry.

Hi everyone! You can add your other registries to the registry page of your wedding website through the free-form text field and hyperlink the registry URL. You can also add all of your registry retailers to the central WeddingWire Registry which integrates all of your registries into one easy list for your guests to browse!

Will this issue be fixed soon?

For anyone who missed this, like I did haha, when you're in the edit mode, if you click the chain link looking logo (beside the bullet points), you can add the website address and turn the text into a link that guests can just click on.

This is very disappointing because I used to be able to have the pretty link to my other registry, now I am forced to only use the wedding wire registry or just have to type it in? I am very disappointed and will look at moving all my wedding information. The Wedding Wire registry has links to articles telling guests how much to spend on gifts and does not visually show the products, it is not a good platform. I do not want my guests being taken to a page where they are shown articles. Very disappointed Wedding Wire!

Agreed about the frustration! I think there may be glitches with inserting the weddingwire registry too, because only the photo shows up when I click to "add registry"... Are you suggesting that even with the wedding wire registry, I will need to add hyperlinks in the text?

Having the same issue and beyond frustrated. Hesitant to recommend the ww website product now because of it. Why take the option away, when we already had it when our website was built?

My aunt made my bridal shower invitation, and instead of linking it to our wedding website, she just listed the stores we were registered at and how to search our names. Much better than directing them to the weddingwire registry website (for all of the reasons listed above). In that section, instead of linking your registry, just hyperlink the individual store's pages, or just write in text how to search for your registry. That is the work around. Or create a separate one on theknot.com, which I also did.

Hi Sam! You can link your WeddingWire Registry and don't need to hyperlink the text! I just took a peek at your wedding website and can see that everything is linked correctly and working great!

In the same boat- this is extremely confusing to our guests who now have to do an extra step just to see the registry. ugh.

I was just checking my registry here and noticed that the items purchased are still showing as not purchased and the changes I made (adding or removing items) never updated. I gave up and deleted the whole thing. I guess my patience has been running very thin lately.
