Wedding Website Welcome Page

When I type my URL into the search bar to go to my website it doesn't automatically go to my welcome page, it just comes up a blank page until I click on the "welcome" tab. Is there a way that when I type my website URL into the search engine it will automatically go to the welcome page?

    Whoa somebody posted this almost exact post early. Lol I thought I was going crazy.

    Hi Ashley! Our Development Team is aware of this issue and are working hard to fix it! In the meantime, we recommend updating your page design to 'Stacked'. This setting can be found under the 'Design' tab within your wedding website editor.

    I received an email reply from wedding wire and they told me they were working toward a solution but that was about a month ago and my website is still doing it too. I will probably be emailing them again soon, because it is very frustrating.

    I feel as though Wedding Wire isn't taking this very seriously. It has been months and we still do not have a timeline or any real comments from your website on the issue. I truly hope it is fixed soon because this is bad for business. And I will take mine elsewhere.

    I'm pretty frustrated that there hasn't been a fix to this problem yet. It has been MONTHS. I will not recommend wedding wire to any of my friends for their wedding websites. There are plenty of competitors out there.

    Exactly how I feel! I have contacted wedding wire multiple times and they have no actual answers either. Complete joke!

    Still nothing. Very disappointed in wedding wires website. The RSVP feature is terrible as well. Thinking of moving everything over to theknot :/

    Hi everyone! Still no timeline for this issue, however, there is a workaround if you choose to change your wedding website to the 'Stacked' layout instead of 'Paged'. I understand that this is a major inconvenience for you, however, this workaround is going to avoid this issue completely! We hope to have this resolved soon!

    I do not like the "stacked" version of the website and I don't think that should be a resolution. I shouldn't have to change my website because your company can't do YOUR JOB. Please do your jobs and fix the real problem instead of giving us alternatives to hopefully leave you alone. It has been MONTHS and it's ridiculous that wedding wire can't figure it out. Your company is joke.
