Hello beautiful ladies! Smiley heart 175 left Smiley ring

So I just added all of the finishing touches to our wedding website on zola.com, I will be attaching our URL below. I would really appreciate it if some of you ladies can go to the website and let me know if it reads well. Let me know if I'm missing anything, especially in the Travel section and in the Q&A section. I still have to upload tons of pictures of me and the fiance but that is the easy part. Any tips and opinions are gladly welcomed

Thanks!

I notice a lot od your paragraphs are written just from your perspective. You are only half of the couple getting married. The pages about your love story, proposal, bridal party, etc. should be told from the perspective of "we" not "I."

Hey, jasmine thanks for catching that! I actually thought that I changed all of the "I' to "WE". My finance read and looked over everything and since we both have the same perspective he told me not to change a thing. But I can see what you mean about it looking one-sided. I will definitely talk to FH and see if he would like to change anything Thanks for the input Smiley smile

Hi Sabrina. I think it looks really pretty and exciting. I'm quite intrigued by the hotel rooms at your venue! For the Travel page, you could shorten the verbage, e.g. You must book directly with the hotel for room block rate for days x-y. The deadline for this discount is xyz. Please contact the couple if you require an extended stay. I'd also include parking fees in the hotel blurb, since I think many will be getting rental cars from the airport. I did see it on the venue page which is thoughtful. Best wishes!

Love it! I found a few things.
    1. On the honeymoon fun page generosity is misspelled.
    2. On the dress code question, it says “out special day” versus our. 3. On the top message, I would change it to read “if you are no longer able or feel uncomfortable traveling/attending, we understand.”
Again, great job! I know how much work this is and it isn’t easy!

    Thanks, Michelle,

I know that part is really long-winded, but we really wanted to eliminate any confusion and answer any questions that might come up. We also wanted to avoid answering the same questions over and over again from everyone. But thanks for the tips it's appreciated.Smiley smile

Congratulations on your engagement! I hope the planning process has been lots of fun!

I checked out your wedding website, and did find some notable items that you might want to revisit:
Under “Our Story” it should be started from AN inbox (not “a inbox”).
In the first section under travel, the word “for” is needlessly capitalized (in the sentence that ends in “for anyone interested”).
In the following travel section describing the hotel, the word August is not capitalized. And in the sentence following it, the word “Due” should also be capitalized.
In the sentence that starts out “ this is a hotel near Pocono Palace”, the word “near” does not need to be capitalized.
In the final sentence of this section, it should read “if you decide to use a third-party….” (Not “an” third-party…)
In that same sentence, the second parentheses needs to be after “etc.”
In the following section describing the Quality Inn, the sentence should read “If more days are needed, please contact the hotel manager, Sabrina.”
*I do have to agree with previous commenters that the travel section is incredibly long winded, and could easily lead to guests not reading this section because it is just so long.
In the honeymoon fund section, the first sentence is awkwardly structured and incorrectly punctuated. I would probably change it to something like:We are blessed to enter into our marriage with all the belongings we need; therefore, we have chosen to establish a honeymoon fund in lieu of a traditional registry.
In the second sentence, you can eliminate either the word “help” or “allow” - you don’t need both.
The following sentence I would word as follows:If you would like to contribute, please utilize the link below.
The last sentence is unneeded, and also feels awkward. You could leave this sentence out entirely. If, however, you absolutely want this sentiment included, it would be more grammatically correct as:Whether or not you choose to contribute to the fund, we wish to express our love and gratitude for each of you.
In the wedding party section, under Christian Anderson, no period is needed after the exclamation point, and the word “the” following it should be capitalized. Also in that same sentence, the word “without” is one word.
Under “brothers of the bride”, in one you have the word “giving” capitalized, and one is lower case.
There are some others, but these were the things that stuck out to me the most. Hope it helps!
