Wedding website...

Jasmita, on November 11, 2019 at 8:25 PM Posted in Registry 0 11
So Im,starting to work on my website. Unfortunately the place im getting my invites does not really offer a website. What are some good free websites? I only know of Zola? I also would like to link this website to FB and Instagram. On a related issue, I will be registerring at a couple of places and want to incorporate that into my website as well and not just use theirs...any thoughts/suggestions??? Im still learning about all this crazy stuff so please let me know if I've got something wrong... Thanks Y'all!

I'm using Wix. Its extremely customizable and easy to navigate. My site hardly even looks like the original template. You can have your registry page on there as well as an RSVP page. On my site, I added a local activites page so my guests will know the top 10 things to do in the surrounding area if they so choose to explore the city.

I hear people like Zola best. I very often see people on these forums say the wedding wire website has tons of issues. Some like the Knot, too.

I highly recommend Zola for wedding website. I love ours and it’s so easy to use/RSVP and looks really pretty. We aren’t doing a registry though but I heard prices are high on Zola for some reason

Yes, I briefly looked at Zola and thought their prices were high...It makes sense though, they have to compensate for their free website somehow..lol..I don't mind picking up a few items off their site, but didn't know how they would feel if I added that I would also be registered at places like Target, Home Depot etc.

We're using Wix. I wanted to be able to update the background image to match my Save the Dates and none of the free sites offered it. I wanted to use WW to make it easy since everything else is saved here, bur I couldn't find a way to add additional questions to the RSVP

We’re using Blueprint Registry for our website, rsvps, and registry. It’s free and it walks you through making your website and registry. It’s also pretty customizable, which is nice Smiley smile for the registry, you can either add registries you’ve already made at most other stores, or you can add individual items from other stores to the blueprint registry page on your website. It’s super convenient

Zola is great, and you don't have to use their registry on there. You can add links to external registries on there that will show up on the "registry" page of your website.
