Wedding website

I put it on our details card apart of our invitation because we aren't doing a website

we put: we respectfully request this is an adult only event. Only children who are part of the wedding party will be present.

I didn't want it to sound like I'm apologizing for something that I shouldn't be sorry for. I found what I wanted to say by googling.

Only put the adults' names on the envelope. Put "we have reserved 2 seats in your honor" on the RSVP card (don't leave a line for them to write how many are coming since some people try to put a number more than 2). Are the kids who are coming going to be flower girls or ring bearers? People will be more understanding if they're actually in the wedding and not just guests at the reception.

We put in our FAQs: "Only children included with an online RSVP are invited to attend". Then on their envelope I only put the adult's names and on the online RSVP, only the adults are listed. My nephews, and my FH's niece and nephew are the only children invited (so, the bridal party's kids).

We did a FAQ on our wedding website: Are children invited? - No! Although we love kids - the only kids that will be in attendance are the kids in our wedding party. Please be sure to book a babysitter because this is your night off!

We addressed our save the dates and invitations to each individual guest and listed adults only even on our wedding website where they rsvp and find travel info.
