Wedding Website

You can delete everything on the site, and then immediately put up other stuff at the same site. The domain will still be active; you just need to have different pages there.

So If I delete my wedding wire site, can I immediately use that domain for another site?

The reason I am asking is because we have already told people our URL and I don't want to change that.

I found that out as well. Did you try deleting your website and then using that domain for another one?

Does the URL belong to you or to them? If you bought the domain, and are just forwarding it to the Weddingwire site, you can immediately direct your webhost to forward it to a different site. At most, it would take a few minutes for it to go to the new site.

However, if you got a custom domain from Weddingwire itself, and they own it, then you don't have an ability to transfer it to a different site.
