Wedding Week(end) Outfits

I've been wondering this as well! We have the venue the night before so I have to figure something out there. In addition we're having an after party the day after at our home so I've been pondering something cute to wear that still had a weddingy/just married feel. Thanks for posting this! Definitely following.

Most of my clothes for the wedding weekend are white lol. I have a white sundress for rehearsal and cutoffs and white lace crop for luncheon/spa day and my white bikini.... getting married at a small beach town

Nordstrom, Lulus or RentTheRunway would be great for this! Nordstrom worked for me to order in the app (awesome search and filtering) and ship to me or pickup at a nearby Nordstrom store. I ended up with a few different white dresses that could be dressed up or down depending on shoes and accessories. These are sold out now but I’m sure you could find something similar now.

Hey Elizabeth!! I think it’s definitely a great idea to think about what style of clothes you are looking for. Do you want clothes are dressy to wear with heels or items that are more relaxed and chilled? It’s a possibility that you are looking for both!

As you have plenty of time before your wedding, it’s a great idea to start looking for outfits now so you don’t feel like you're rushed and are buying something for the sake of it. Look on Pinterest for inspiration ideas and shop around online to see what styles you like.

Are you planning on wearing white for all of your pre-wedding events?

One event may be all in white (I have a versatile white dress that can be dressed up/down for most occasions). Thank you for the Pinterest idea! I've done some online shopping after trying items in stores and like what I've added to spruce up my wardrobe so far!

Thank you! I found a few dresses at JCPenney that'll work well-- one is blue/white and another is navy/white.

No, I won't be wearing all-white to all pre-wedding events. I'd like to rewear the outfits again and don't want them to say "bride"/"bridal" event either. Here's a couple dresses I picked up and have some more on the way. September in Buffalo is comfortable-- sleeveless is fine during the day, just bring a shawl in the evenings for something dressy.

How about something like this for the day after? It's also a great spring/summer dress, and can be worn in the fall with a jacket, sweater, or shawl and pumps! I found this dress on sale at JCPenney! It runs true to size if you're interested. I'm 5'8" and the hem is above my knees

These are beautiful Elizabeth! It's definitely a great idea to not want to look to 'bridal' so you can wear it again without feeling like a bride! I love the pattern on the blue and white one It's also great that you will probably be able to wear the same shoes with each of them!
