Wedding welcome Gift for Guets

Michel, on March 16, 2023 at 2:06 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

Hey guys! So, I'm new here and I'm excited to say that I'm getting hitched to my soulmate Elsa in July 2024. We've been brainstorming about a killer welcome gift for our guests and we're thinking of something that will make them feel good and have a little fun too.

Most of our fam and friends love their drinks, so we're thinking of getting them something they'll love and cherish - a personalized gift that they would love. My buddy Robin suggested a few options like koozies, sleeves, tees, or caps, but we reckon koozies are the way to go. They're cheap, cheerful and everyone would love them! Elsa's on board with this too, of course.

I found a site called ShopSavvy.mobi where we can grab some koozies( Take a look ), but if you guys have any other cool gift ideas or platforms, please do hit me up! I'm all ears and can't wait to hear what you've got! Cheers in advance!

Are you having a destination wedding?

I think a welcome kit with a couple packs of advil, tums, liquid IV, and a bottle if water might be good to add. Depending on how long people will be in town for the wedding you could add a list of local places to check out, although if you have a website it might be nicer on there.

In addition to the practical things people wish they had when they’re in the hotel room late at night ( like a bottle of water and a light snack), I think it’s cute when people include gifts highlighting the area, too. Like if there’s a local candy store and you include treats from there in the bag.

That will be handled by our planner, and I guess this is common at a big wedding. BTW Thanks for the suggestion. but any other suggestion which is rare in the wedding.

Ohhh, so that would be a wedding favor not a welcome gift. A welcome gift would be something to welcome and thank them for taking time and money to travel for your wedding. Usually welcome gifts are something for the person to unwind/relax after a day of traveling.

A personalized welcome bag with a variety of snacks, drinks, and other goodies. A small potted plant or flower arrangement with a note attached welcoming the guest to the wedding. A handmade candle with the couples names and wedding date printed on it. An engraved keepsake box with a special message from the couple. A personalized keychain or magnet with the couples names and wedding date.

This post sounds like a promotion but if it’s not as PP said you are really talking about favors. Favors are not necessary or even traditional in most cases. The reception is the thank you for attending. Personally, I would never use a koozie with someone else’s wedding date on it. Most people I know would just toss or donate something like that. If you must, I’d go with something edible.

I will be ordering all my personalized wedding party gifts from a site that I have been using for years. They have some cool things on there that you can have personalized for each wedding party member. The link is below.. and I think the koozies are great. Nothing wrong with that. Good Luck.
