Wedding Wire Website Help!

Emily, on June 29, 2020 at 1:11 PM Posted in Account Support 0 8
Hello! My fiancé and I decided to keep our original wedding date (9-12-2020) and I personally do not want to taint my invites with COVID negativity so instead of adding a piece of paper to the invite I would like to keep our guests informed via my Wedding Wire website. However, when people go to search for my fiancé and Is page it says we can not be found. Any tips and tricks?! Thank you 💕

Did you give them a direct link to your site? I feel like that would alleviate many issues when going to a website.
And if so, are the pages published so they can be seen?

I included the link on our STDs and adding it to our invitations. You can also email it. The one thing I did find out is, it does NOT like Internet Explorer - it will accept any other platform (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)

We also included the direct URL on our invites but due to COVID the invites are still not in. I might just have to copy & paste the link to people since no one seems to be able to find our page by simply typing in our names. Thanks for the info thought! I will definitely try to use Chrome and see if I have any success!

My wedding is in September too, and...same! We sent out our invites already and we just out the link to the website right on the invitation. That's how we are having people RSVP, so everyone has to go to the website anyway. We just added a small blurb about how the wedding is completely outdoors, but that it would be wise to get tested for covid before attending and that masks are encouraged, especially if they're coming from a high risk area. (The area where we are having the wedding has like 50 cases total since March, it's very low-risk.)

    Hello Emily,

We’re so sorry but we are experiencing an issue with the website search function at this time. Our Development Team is aware and working on a fix but there is no timeline for a resolution. We always recommend that you provide your guests with your direct wedding website URL to avoid confusion.

If you have any other questions please contact the Support Team at help@weddingwire.com.

I was having the same problem, but I was able to find us when I searched my last name. His last name might have worked too, but his last name was more popular and I had to comb through a lot more names.
