Definitely get a wedding planner! Makes things so much easier! Congrats!!!!

Definitely get a planner! There’s soo much to do! We have a coordinator who’s the owner of the venue. He keeps us on track, contacts the various venders so we don’t have to & it’s his responsibility to make sure everyone gets paid, etc. This takes so much stress off of us.

We didn't have a planner and I honestly didn't think it was too much. You speak to the vendors at booking and then again throughout the last month leading up to the wedding. Our venue came with an event coordinator who ran the day for us though, which was super helpful. I would definitely recommend a day of coordinator because you don't want to be the one orchestrating everything behind the scenes the day of.

A planner is an extra expense that in my mind is not necessary. We have not used one and the planning has been low stress. Ask your vendors for checklists or tools they have. Many have lists and tools that will help to ensure nothing is forgotten
