WeddingWire Registry

Has anybody tried the new WeddingWire Registry? It sounds intriguing, but I'm skeptical and have questions.

-If I don't like it, can I deactivate it and keep my website page with my registries?

-Will my individual registries show even when the WW registry combines them all?

    Hmmm...I don't know, I didn't even realize WW offered a registry. Following because I'm curious too.

    I just tested it, but didn’t make it active, and honestly, it seems kind of pointless. All the items from our individual registries populated ok, but if you clicked on an item, it just took you to the amazon registry page (since that’s where we’re registered) and you have to search for the item again. It seems most useful as a way to see everything you’ve registered for in one place, but not particularly useful as a way to actually buy things.

    I had only added one retail store last week, and I went back in to add the other one tonight. Now I can only add the wedding wire registry... so that is the only option I have now, and I am not very fond of it. It just seems like an extra step.

    The WeddingWire Registry will integrate all of your registry items for display, but each of your individual registries still exist through those retailers!

    Hi, my fiancé and I just finished our registry and uploaded it to our wedding website. It wasn’t too terribly difficult to navigate. I like that all our gifts are listed in one location. My question is since we now have all our registry items in one location, should we go back and delete duplicate gifts that we had listed on different sites previously????

    Hi Jacqueline! Do you mean that you have registered for multiples of the same item at different retailers and want to eliminate the duplicates? If so - sure! That's totally up to you!

    The WeddingWire Registry integrates all of the registries you've created into one list for a seamless experience for your guests! If you add or remove items from your individual registries with each retailer, the changes will be updated and reflected on your WeddingWire registry.

    Hi Lynnie,

    I made some changes to our registries on the retailers websites, but noticed the changes hadn't happened in the WeddingWire version of the registry. Do you know why this happened? Thanks!

    Hi Kassie! Have the changes gone through now? Depending on the individual retailer, changes can take up to 24-48 hours to sync!
