Wedpics - not so free!

Amyd38, on July 31, 2016 at 8:33 AM Posted in Community Conversations 0 14

I've posted here before my debate over which photo service to use. I ended up with wedpics because your guests and you can put photos into albums to try and create some sort of organization. Just to let you know, it's $35 to allow you and your guests to download a quality photo. Not insane by any means, but it's listed are free free free everywhere.

Good to know! I passed on it because it kept slipping my mind but I would've been upset to know that there was a hidden cost.

Oh wow. Thanks for the info! I didn't want to just rely on # bc that would mean all pics would be square instead of 4x6 so I'll keep looking at other alternatives

Wait... Wedpics IS free to use and to collect your guests photos. There are some paid upgrade options (like removing ads and high resolution downloads... the cheapest package is $10 I believe) but you can still use the app and get all of your guests photos without spending a dime. And they have really great customer service. I don't see $35 anywhere but maybe they're changing things around?

You get to the $35 portion after you sign up. Once you are signed up (which is free), it will give you package options. If you want to download the high quality photos, and give guests the option of downloading the photos, you have to pay. Otherwise to download a high res copy, your guests have to pay.

$35 is for the gold option that allows unlimited guests and photos and has a higher resolution.

Has anyone had issues with wedpics? I ordered the table cards and now they won’t reply to emails regarding when to expect them. They already have my money but are ignoring my emails and say they don’t have a phone number.

I have a problem with the app, testing it with a friend of mine that has chosen to use it. I can upload from 'Gallery' on my Samsung, but not from 'Photos', When uploading from 'Photos', at the top of the screen it says Uploading, under neath that (Turquoise bar) it says 'xxxxx still needs HQ Downloads unlocked...', it just wont upload, even after 2 hrs. Have asked this question on wedpics Facebook message, but 24hrs later no answer...Any ideas??

When I go to download my pics, it says it will send me a link and then never does. I paid the extra just to be able to download all the photos. Anyone else had this problem?

I'm having th same issue! It's been 3 weeks since I ordered and in the last 1.5 weeks I've contacted them 3 times. The only response I received was last week stating they'd check with their printer and let me know. Since then I've sent 2 more emails and have heard nothing. Did you ever get this resolved?? My wedding is in 3 days...

Hi, one that we are using is called I Do (wedding and photo app). It does cost 4.99 but that's the only price and it then allows all your guests to use it. They can upload photos and videos, download them all in high quality. Doing most of our planning on it as well.
