Week Day Wedding

Mine is on a Tuesday! We are having an afternoon wedding starting at 2pm so people have time to sober up (if necessary) and travel home after the reception.

We are doing a Thursday evening wedding in October!

Ours is Thursday July 1st!! (less than 2 weeks!)

We aren't, but my brother in law did, theirs was on a Friday. It was super nice - it felt exciting to have a day off, and you had all weekend to recover!

My wedding will also be on a Thursday. We had to reschedule due to COVID and they didn’t have any weekends available until late 2022. We did not want to wait anymore.


I was sad about loosing our date because it was his grandparents anniversary.

Yes! I'm getting married on Thursday Aug 25 2022. When we toured our venue in Dec 2020, they had no Fridays-Sundays available until 2023.

We're doing ours on a Friday... not counted as a weekday for some. Not because it was cheaper, but my fiance got stuck on that date.

Oh wow I'm learning that due to covid a lot of venues schedule are backed up so they are trying to get everyone in, in the order they would have been in before covid.

We had a weekday minimony last year during the pandemic - it was on a Tuesday. However our big wedding this year will be on a Saturday

Hey wedding twin! We went with a Thursday for many reasons, but one of them was not having to compete with all of the post-poned 2020 weddings - which allowed us to take a bit more time making decisions about the day.
