Weekday Wedding Timeline

Ellie, on July 30, 2021 at 11:40 AM Posted in Planning 0 4

Hi All!

So I am trying to figure out a timeline for a 5:30 pm wedding ceremony with the wedding being on a weekday. We are getting married on Monday, October 25th in Arizona, and sunset, golden hour for photos is at 5:45 pm. Sunset at 6:10 pm. My fiance and I hoping for a 15-minute Chrisitan ceremony. Have our guests arrive at 5:00 pm so everyone should be on time for the ceremony to start.

The venue offers an area for cocktail hour and we are going to do buffet style with the food. I am thinking about doing a first look and photos beforehand so we have plenty of time to relax and be present with our guests.

Does anyone have a similar timeline or any suggestions?

Thank you so much! Smiley heart

    Hey girl!

We decided on a weekday ceremony for two reasons, my fiance just blurted out a random date and it happened to be October 25th... but also the cost difference. Weekday weddings are significantly less than weekend weddings and with our budget, it just worked out much better.

I feel you there! That's why we decided to get married in April (we live in a cold state) because things are cheaper than warmer months!

That's nice! Our summer months, July and August, are so hot so they discount them well. It's so hot at 120 degrees it's not fun and I don't think worth it lol!
