Weight loss stress!

Like many brides, I had huge aspirations of losing weight before my wedding! I have a count down on my computer at work and on my phone, sticky notes on my monitors with things that say "Only eat when hungry", "Drink that water", "Get up and walk". I have lost no weight! Like many brides, I had huge aspirations of losing weight before my wedding! I have a count down on my computer at work and on my phone, sticky notes on my monitors with things that say "Only eat when hungry", "Drink that water", "Get up and walk". I have lost no weight! I had my dress fitting a week ago and my mermaid style is a smidge tight through my thighs (probably only something I would notice on my wedding day), the seamstress said she could take it out or I could work on my legs! I needs tips, suggestions, to wire my jaw, something! I stress eat, which isn't good when my boss has chocolate on his desk in a large bowl. And then I stress about stress eating and eat more... I have tried my fitness pal, and have great aspirations of working out and only eating 1,000 calories a day and drinking water and not drinking calories, but I am stressed and discouraged (which tends to lead to more eating)!!! And the clock is ticking louder, my wedding is May 7th! ARGH!

    You sound like me. I really need to slim down my thighs. I got my dress in January and my wedding isn't until May. I am not motivated, but I've been trying to walk more. Take small steps. Eat smaller meals more often. Join a class. Make whatever you do fun so you won't quit.

    I love all these tips! Although I've been doing most of these for awhile, but only started really working out for a month, and haven't seen results yet Smiley sad. But apparently other people have, so yay!

    Also, for anyone who has issues with portion control, my dad eats an apple half an hour before eating every meal (they're healthy and keep you feeling full for awhile), and lost a ton of weight!

    I feel you - we are honeymooning in Tahiti, and I plan on looking bomb for both that and of course, the wedding (especially since my initial fitting happened last summer, when I was about 20 lbs lighter...), so I started doing Wii Active in December - don't laugh! I started feeling it increase tone within the first week, and have been going strong ever since (the 30 day workout challenge kicks your butt, but I've done 2 of em so far, with regular preset or custom workouts for a bit in between) - between that and cutting back calories (i'm an organic vegetarian as is, so I've also been cutting out crappy snacks and baked goods) - just question every food decision you make, I always ask myself 'do i NEED that' (similarly to buying wedding decor, etc) - good luck, hope your wedding and honeymoon is amazing!!!!

    You have plenty of time to slim the hips my biggest thing is walk everywhere and go on walks during breaks or right after work don't go home and get caught up with something else
