Thank you sugar I'm keeping everything you stated in mine. I am already fit and my weight travels to my hips and butt and it is obvious causing a lot of attention because its been rumored that my butt is fake here at work. You would think that these women would have other things to discuss than my butt lol every time I think about it I laugh. I mean I know women who actually get this surgery and wish like hell they will go away with this because they mess it up for those who do have one. I know that's off the subject but I kind of want to tone it anyway. I'm 5'2 and at times it hurt my back.

THIS!!! I did the Kayla Itsines workouts back when they were guides and she’s amazing. I lost about 15 lbs which was a lot for me. I also learned so much about fitness and nutrition. The key to success is varying your workouts and keeping good eating habits. Fad diets will work for a month or so, but healthy eating is a way of life. Diet will have the biggest effect. Look up clean eating- basically trying to avoid processed foods.

I've been using MyFitnessPal app to track my calories and I'm moving more, gardening, getting on the treadmill, etc. I'm down 20 pounds since January (with a couple of plateaus). The app has been crucial to me. It shows my where my calories are going and helps me plan my meals for the day, so I know if I have enough calories left to have wine with dinner. 😁

Cynthia...that’s an excellent start. I went from being retired and exercising all the time to a full time job and not enough time to workout. I do what’s for my body age and health. I’m on a 5 day water fast. I’ve been eating healthy. Soon I’ll start playing softball with my old team. Find your niche. Get the FH onboard too. It helps.

I'm a huge fan of weight-watchers. I did very well when I was on their program. For health issues I ended up having gastric sleeve surgery and lost almost 100 pounds. I gained some back after getting with my FH, but i'm working hard it getting it all back off. I"m just going back on my bariatric plan, lots of protein and green veggies. I had to give up my gym membership, which killed me, but since the weather is getting nice again i've been walking at least 1.5 miles per day most days. Some days more, but never less than that. It's free, and I use the time to clear my head

I would love to lose 20 pounds but I am going wedding dress shopping on May 4th, how are y'all figuring out what size dress to get? Are you just getting the size your currently in and then getting it altered a month out from your wedding date?

I do different work out programs on Beachbody (21 day fix, Liift4, phase 1 of 80 day obsession) and log my food on MyFitnessPal and that works for me. I have lost 10lbs and definitely toned up but more importantly I feel healthier and energetic.

I got my size when I bought the dress last summer even though I knew I wanted to lose some weight but I did not want to take any chances. It is easier to have the dress taken in then to end up not losing the weight and having to let it out. Now I'm 10lb lighter and counting so I'm sure I will need to have the dress taken in but it's fine.

I would recommend to fast for at least 3 days and just drink water and natural juice this will restart your body. Once you do this then the best thing you can do for you and your body is eat healthy! Eating healthy is the key if you have a horrible diet and work out every day you won’t loose as much weight but if you eat healthy and work out occasionally that will help you loose weight. I also don’t think you should set a goal so you don’t get disappointed at the end Incase you don’t meet your goal your goal should be to feel good or be healthy.

I’m doing insanity 6 days a week, free weights for arm toning a few times a week, counting calories/eating healthy and will probably start taking Hydroxycut gummies soon (I have a friend who has had great results with them). Good luck!

My wedding is on October 5th of this year. I don't remember the exact timeline and I don't currently have it on me but taking the dress in starts around a month before the wedding. I was told to not lose or gain any weight starting at that point.

I am trying to lost about 30 pounds before my wedding- September 28th this year. I’ve lost 35 pounds before but went through some circumstances and gained it back. Last time I was a student and had a great free gym and a flexible schedule. So I worked out 4 days a week. That was always my goal even if I one workout was less than an other. It’s just important that you are active. And I counted calories which really helps me or else I end up overeating. Now since I work almost full time, I try and workout 3-4 days a week and on the days I don’t work out I take my dog for a walk in the park. I keep a loss track of my calories but don’t count every single one. Just making sure I don’t overeat and stay on track. For certain things i weigh them out and bag them. For instance beef jerky- lots protein but also lots of sodium and calories add up fast. So I bag up on serving which is around 11 grams of protein with 80 calories and eat it as a snack. Same with baked chips so that way I don’t eat a whole bag. Moderation is key. Also now I don’t have a gym I workout at home and have been using Hasfit videos. All there videos are free and are on YouTube. So far it’s been about three weeks and I’ve lost about 7 pounds ( water weight) but it’s going well so far. Just remember if you mess up it’s okay, keep going. Don’t give up for the rest of the day or the rest of the week. Just keep trying your best. You got this!

HUGE fan of Kelly Leveque's book "Body Love"!!! The Fab 4 plan is sustainable! I read it almost a year ago, and things just started to click! Coupled with Jonathan Bailor's "The Calorie Myth: How to Eat More and Exercise Less", nutrition finally just makes sense to me. It's almost keto-like, but with an increase in non-starchy vegetables being the key. I think the problem with keto is people think it's about eating all the fat, but that's not what the intent keto was supposed to be. It's about eating natural food in it's whole state, so a focus on eating a ton of non-starchy vegetables (which will also help in your skin and hair health as well! an added bonus to make sure we are glowing on our day), healthy fats (ghee, olive oil, avocados, nuts), and lean proteins. I've been following this approach to nutrition as well as doing a morning "P.volve" fitness streaming class, which is low-intensity workouts focusing on the butt, thighs, abs, and upper body. I absolutely love it!

It’s pretty tough but it does get easier if you stick with it. I’m going into my second time through the program and have definitely seen good results (I couldn’t tell you pounds because I don’t weigh myself, just want to look physically fit and not concerned with numbers). I hated it at first but I actually can’t seem to find a better workout and it’s so satisfying when you’re finished !

There's a couple who got married not too long ago and now they write programs specifically for brides, I follow them on Instagram and they seem to have a lot of good options, probably going to check them out this summer. Their page is theperfectbrides

I just started the 21 day fix, just the exercises though. I lost the containers when moving. Do you exercise daily? And on MyFitnessPal, do you follow their calories suggestion?
