When I was doing 21 day fix I worked out usually 5 days a week, so I didn't stick to the daily exercise schedule as it exists. My body and mind needed a day away from Autumn lol now I am doing LIIFT4 and workout 4 days a week and usually throw in a 5th day as a form of cardio.
I do not use the containers. I know a lot of people do well with them and it's a great learning took for balancing your nutritional needs but I found them to be too time consuming to use on a daily basis. Plus, I have a food scale that I prefer to use to measure my food.
I do not follow MFP's calorie suggestion. I find 1200 calories to be far too low. I stick to around 1500 calories a day, more on more active days, and I lost 12 pounds so I guess that works for me.You have to find a routine that will work best for you that you can sustain long-term, even if that means not following the program down to the absolute last detail. Good luck!

I go to the gym 4 days a week, sometimes 5. I go for 2 days take 1 off, go for 2 days take 1 off. It seems to be working for me. I've also cut out a lot of sugar, preparing healthier meals, drinking lots more water.

August alone I lost 20 pounds.

Keep a diary in which you will write down everything that you ate for the day. See how much excess you eat. Next you need to watch what you eat. The less the product is processed, the more useful. Also you need to move more!
