I've used both, as well as others. At this point MFP because it's free.

I love the myfitnesspal app, it's has so much nutritional info about so many foods which is helpful if you are keeping track of your calories.

I have used my fitness pal for the last few months but only because fitbit syncs with it. I prefer sparkpeople. I lost over 80lbs with that one

WW was great to start out w/, however, once I got to my goal and just needed to maintain weight I switched to MFP because it's free and I already was comfortable w/ the food I ate and how to log it, plus my activity was easier to log in MFP and at the time I was using the Nike fuel band. When I switched to the charger HR fitbit - it syncs w/ MFP, which made logging even easier. I'll probably jump back on WW while I nurse, to help maintain a healthy weight loss while not sacrificing my milk supply.

I lost a pretty significant amount of weight on WW about 10 years ago. I wanted to lose a few pounds at the end of last year, so I joined again, because their program has always worked for me.

Well, ever since OPRAHHHHHHHHHHHH took over, now the program is completely different and I hate it. Basically, now it's just like any other diet -- eat boneless, skinless chicken and greens, and that's about it. The old program allowed you to have "the good stuff," just in moderation. The new points system doesn't allow for that. I tried it for a few weeks and just gave up. It used to be a lifestyle change, now it's just a diet like all the others.

I'm on MFP because it's free and all I need is something to track my diet/exercise in.
