Welcome bags are a really nice touch for your out-of-town guests! But do you now expect to see them at the room block, or are they still an extra pleasant surprise?

Neither ick. They can be cute, but if I received one, I would honestly think that it's just extra junk to either pack up to bring home or throw away. With the exception of food of course

Nice to have and it depends on how many guests/families are traveling to attend your wedding. If most our your guests aren't, then it may be nice for guests traveling a longer distance.

Nice to have! If you’re guests get mad they didn’t receive a welcome bag for coming to your wedding then that’s petty. They should be more concerned with just seeing the couple and celebrating not cheap things thrown together in a bag
