Welcome Bags - Need to Have or Nice to Have?

Welcome bags are a really nice touch for your out-of-town guests! But do you now expect to see them at the room block, or are they still an extra pleasant surprise? Nice to have but can be expensive

My hotel will charge per welcome bag or gift that we give .

Neither. They just seem like a waste. Of time and money.

Not necessary, but if you can afford it, I think it's a nice touch.

I don't see the reason for them so neither nice to have or a need

Definitely! Your out of town guests are spending a pretty penny to show up for you, show them you’re appreciative by being thoughtful and generous. I would cut something for myself to do this for our loved ones.

Nice to have, but not necessary. Weddings are already expensive enough and this just seems like unnecessary money on something that no one will miss if it’s not there.

It’s a nice to have option! If you can fit it into your budget I say go for it! I don’t think we will have one due to budget restraints.

Nice to have but we won’t be doing them. I feel like it’s a waste of money.

Nice to have! And likely can be done in an inexpensive way.

I think they are nice to have, but great for a guest to find in their hotel room with extra bottles of water, snacks, etc; to help them out after a night of partying. Plus, if they had to travel you can add local items to make it more special and maps of the area if they are staying extra days so they know where things are to do.

I think for most is nice to have. I’m my case it was sort of a need because of a destination wedding. I was able to offer itinerary, maps, instructions as well as some goodies and it was really easy for us. Because of this I also didn’t do favors as this serve for it.
