Overrated. Simple wedding favors are okay, but most of the time people don't use or even take their favor.

Overrated for sue. This is a second marriage for both of us and for my first I did these, and what a waste and unneeded stress I caused myself. Half the stuff got tossed and the other stuff people forgot to take with them.

I didn't know this is thing. But for sure aren't doing this...BUT we will have baskets near our venues bathroom that will contain products guests can use at our wedding.

Overrated. It's not like you're forcing them to come to the wedding. We're skipping it.

Overrated. I do plan to give my out of state guests a local guide book and bottles of a local artisanal soda. Thats enough for me. I’m not over complicating it.

Overrated. When thinking about the overall budget this was the first thing to go. I wanted to do them for my out of town guests but its not worth it to me. Love the idea BUT the more out of town guest the more money you spend.

I'm torn on this. I think they are overrated in that they are definitely not necessary...BUT if you have the time and want to put forth the effort, I don't think they are necessarily a bad thing. 70% of our guests will be coming from out of town, but they aren't all choosing to use my hotel block and there's no way I'm going to deliver these bags to hotels all over Atlanta. I am considering doing a nice basket in the bathrooms of hygiene products.

I think it’s a bit over rated we are having a destination wedding and if we wanted to do this it would be to much work plus most people are using it as there vacation time which makes me feel like they are more willing to come Because it’s in a nice location instead of the my wedding. We are only doing welcome bags to guests who flew a long distance (most people have to drive 3-4 hours) fiancés family are coming in from China so I wanted to thank his family for coming and traveling so far.

Overrated. I think it's a nice gesture, if you have an unlimited budget. Otherwise they are a total waste of money.

Overrated! I think a lot of time we as brides spend a lot of time, effort and money and the guests just end up throwing them away

Overrated. Not necessary. Your gift is all the food, drinks, and fun you’ll have at the wedding.

So torn. I think these are a really fun touch for destination weddings. However, a lot of times they end up being a huge expense for things guests don’t even want/need

I don't think there is anything over rated about providing your guests ibuprofen, water and snacks for their room.
