    Totally agree. We are having a destination wedding and understand how much time and money people have given up to be with us. Providing a few goodies in a welcome bag is a nice sentiment and I enjoy getting them when I attend destination weddings.

    Overrated- I think these are an unnecessary expense. Not to mention I would have no idea what to put in them.

    Totally overrated! I mean wedding guests are generally getting a nice free meal and entertainment. Many times they get to socialize with friends and family. I don’t think guests should expect this.

    I think they are a little overrated, but I still plan on doing something since most of my family will be traveling from out of state. And it is a lot to expect of guests to fly or drive and spend the night in a hotel, so these are a cute way to say thank you and do something creative and fun.

    Underrated 100 percent. It was a nice way to show our guests who travelled that we appreciated them and they raved about them after receiving!!

    Underrated! When I go to a wedding without a bag at the hotel, I think it is weird. (Plus, having some advil in the bags for the morning after and some chips for late night drunk munchies is really nice!)

    For the whole wedding overrated, half these people only talk to us at family reunions, underrated for people your actually close to. I'm having a bonfire after the wedding for a select group and they get the special gifts.

    Overrated. It’s another cost and I am feeding them at the ceremony. The cost adds up when you’re having a big wedding.
