Hello Brides!
Our wedding is during the summer in a lake town so everyone usually walks around wearing beach clothes. We are hosting a welcome party on Friday night and I want to make sure I have a suggested attire on the information card (some family members don't know what certain events call for attire wise...so I want to help them out!) I'm stuck with how to word the attire? I don't want anyone coming in beach wear, jeans, or shorts... I would like everyone in a little dressy of attire but ties are not required...I'll be in long white dress and the groom will be in cream pants boat shoes and a blue sports coat.
I'm thinking the following wording isn't right... is there another word for dress pants and button up?:
Semi-Formal = suits and ties (seems too formal)
Business Casual = jeans are allowed (doesn't seem dressy enough?)
Any thoughts or suggestions are helpful!
