Welcome party time

Sarah, on August 9, 2020 at 5:22 PM Posted in Parties and Events 0 8
Hey y’all, we are doing a welcome party instead of rehearsal dinner. The only way we can do our actual rehearsal is earlier in the afternoon, like 2-3. We intended to have a bus bring the party to the welcome party after, but we have the welcome party starting at 5-8.

Anyway, is 4-7pm Too early for a welcome party? If we moved it up an hour so we don’t have time to kill in between rehearsal and welcome party?

I don’t think it’s too early! So that would be the start of your wedding weekend? Like the day before?

I think 4-7pm would be a good idea if you don't have any setup to do for the welcome party! I do recommend providing some kind of meal or appetizers during this time, since it is during a meal time.

Whether you start at 4 or 7, it’s not too early.
