You could get stencils and paint/chalk to write on a wood board or a chalkboard or glass or a mirror!

You could also use a picture frame either with the back removed or with a colorful background.

You could order glass etching stencils and pick up etching cream from a craft shop, and etch the wording into the glass or a mirror that way.

You could also design the board online and have it printed on poster board. Here's a link that guides you on how to do this design: https://kayllie.com/2020/11/10/diy-wedding-welcome-sign-so-easy/amp/

We bought a giant frame from goodwill for $0.99! I painted it to match our colors. Then we used my sisters circuit. Total it cost maybe $15. The biggest expense was the vinyl. I saved the frame and used it in my classroom too. Welcome Sign 4

I bought a frame from goodwill, removed the old painting, used a piece of posterboard from Micheals and a white chalk pen to do mine! Had to practice a few times on other scrap pieces but I love how it turned out!Welcome Sign 5

I printed a welcome sign on zazzle.com. It was an 8” x 11” photo print and it only cost like $5. I put it in a frame that I already had

Depending on your style is i'd recommend going to a thrift store and finding a pretty mirror or even picture frames. Maybe just a picture frame with twine or wire through it with the letters hanging on it with pictures of you and your spouse.

The white framed mirror I got from craigslist for like $10; for the personalized vinyl lettering - Etsy. Word to the wise, though: you will need an exacto knife and a ruler to cut and apply the lettering to the mirror (as the backing is sticky, and you need to be careful the letters line up properly). HUGE pain in the ass but I was so proud of how it looked.

Hobby Lobby, Michael’s, Joann’s, etc. frequently have frames on sale (50% off, BOGO). I purchased two 16 x 20 vintage-inspired frames at Michael’s during their after Christmas sale, and plan to use my local print shop to print my welcome sign and seating chart.
