Welp....i have two dresses and buyer's remorse.

I knew it was bound to happen. I had my bridal shoot and everyone saw my beautiful dress.

But then I started to feel sad, like I wouldn't have that "wow" factor coming down the aisle, so......I bought this dress on clearance. I don't have a picture of me in it (should have taken one) but it does look really good.

Anyway, I feel really bad for some reason. I think it's because no one other than the sales' people were there to give me an opinion. What if FH doesn't like it as much? What if my mom hates it? I mean on one hand, I'm happy to surprise everyone. But on the other, IDK. I literally got home and hugged my OG dress like I cheated on it or something. I guess I'm going to wear the new one for the ceremony and the original for the reception. What do you guys think?

I’d stick with the original. It’s absolutely beautiful. You’ll still have that wow look

If you’re not 100% in love with the second one, ditch it!

Wear the dress you love most and that makes you prettiest and happiest. Your fiance will love you in anything. You can sell the other online at Facebook Marketplace or stillwhite.com

I love them both and wish I could wear bridal gowns more often. Not sure any photographer could top this though. I'm not going to walk in with this train???? I probably should have left that dress at the store.

They’re both so pretty! I don’t really see the problem of wearing both. Lots of people have one dress for ceremony and one for reception

That train is beautiful. Sometimes you have a return window for dresses, I think your original dress is the one! It will be a different look if you wanted to add a veil or accessories.

That seems like a good idea you have both dresses and it seems like a good option. I think your FH will love what ever you put on but i get what you mean about the what if factor. Follow your gut and your heart with what to wear. If you decide to not change thats ok also.
I have my dress have yet to try it on . Saw it in a magazine and ordered it. I wont try it on til March. Im scared what if he wont love it. I almost bought another dress also..... so i can relate to what you're going thru.
As i said they are both beautiful and i have no doubt you will look amazing in both. Just dont shop for anymore dresses... you dont want to find a 3rd dress lol😉😄

It would be a shame to leave that train bustled the whole time!
It seems like you truly love your original dress. I would stick with that one. It doesn’t matter if people have seen it because pictures don’t beat that actual moment and seeing it in person. It will still absolutely wow them. If you want to make changes, you can always change your hair or accessories.

I prefer the first one. You should wear it again. People won't remember it enough to not be excited for the bride. You remember its details but people won't. You could maybe change tbe sleeves and style yourself differently if you want to change it a little

You are so right. I need to stay out of bridal stores. I guess I'm just trying to get some bang for my buck since I had to postpone for six months, lol.

You are right. I have to walk down the aisle in the original dress. Plus I am drastically changing my hair color, somewhat changing the style, and wearing green accessories for Christmas. That train needs to be seen!

I love them both, but that first one is perfect. You're right, people won't remember my photos from months ago.

Lol i get that i was mad at my fh and how he went from one extreme with wedding to another. I had the i wil show you thinking terrible as it was. I went looking again for something else and then realized im making things harder for myself by finding other dresses.
Dont do it to yourself lol. I love both honesty and really you can wait up until after the ceremony to decide. If you feel like im loving this and dont feel regret or guilty dont change. Do what you want its your day . You can change your mind

I was thinking the same thing. If I decide not to change after the ceremony, I don't have to. And yes, brides, don't do it to yourselves!!!

Classic ocd brain at work! Your first dress is gorgeous, but all the reassurance in the world won’t give a you a definite answer. Dress regret is totally normal, I think you should stick to the original dress and return the unworn one. People will go “wow” when you walk down the aisle because of you, not your dress.
