Welps, I invited Jimmy Fallon.....

We haven't even sent out STDs and FH has already invited a celeb. At a convention last year, FH verbally invited Eddie McClintock of Warehouse 13.

@Moonride....mmmmmm Lenny Kravitz I'm a fan! I saw him and Pink in concert years ago at an outdoor arena in Virginia Beach.

FH and I have a list of celebs we want to send invites:

David Tennant, Matt Smith, Alex Kingston (who I just found out is going to be at a local convention in November so I'm going to actually meet her!!!), John Barrowman, Tom Baker (can you all tell we're Whovians?), Jenson Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Misha Collins (FH is a huge Supernatural fan), Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch, Nathan Fillion and Norman Reedus.

I felt like a total "fangirling" (ha - love that word, OP!) loser too when I sent invitations with a request for advice/words of encouragement to the entire cast of Arrested Development - LOL. (We got married on a fake holiday that is celebrated on the show - not on purpose but whatevs)

Then we got the mail about a week later and we had received a handwritten note from RON HOWARD! (He produces the show)

Totally worth it. Also heard from Henry Winkler (small cast part on the show).

Yeah, I am a geek and I don't care. It was hugely fun to get those in the mail. Also got stuff from Ron Rivera (Carolina Panthers), White House, and Mickey Mouse.

Wish we'd sent out more!

@Ruth, I did! It was the first one we got back from a celeb, too. I was sooo excited. I wrote a note on the invitation asking for advice or words of encouragement and expressed that we were fans of the show and that we were getting married on "Cinco de Quattro" (the fake holiday) - so I think that increased the odds of a reply.

Two minutes of his time, like, made us soooo happy! I'll try to post the pic.

FH really wants to invite Beyonce and Jay-Z, but I can't find an address! If anyone has it, let me know. I did send one to The Obamas. OP, I could totally see Jimmy Fallon coming to your wedding if you're close enough. He seems so down to earth.

I'm totally inviting Peter Capaldi now. That has to happen.

@Ruth!!! SPN is our show!!! I want to name one of our dogs Moose one day because Crowley. JaPad and Jensen are amazing!!! And all those fandoms!! My heart is actually fluttering!!

@Ruth, Alex Kingston is a sweetie. I met her at NYCC last year and she wrote a paragraph in my River Journal.

I'm going to invite practically half the case of Game of Thrones. Just for fun. We've got a ton of extra invites (only needed 75, but the package I bought came with 100.)

I really want to invite Chuck Ragan (a singer, he sings in Hot Water Music and has solo stuff) as we'll have a song of him as a first dance song. He's in Grassvalley, so he's not that far (as long as he won't be on tour then)
