Were you nervous to walk down the aisle?

I think a lot of people feel that way. But I for myself was not nervous at all. I embraced the attention and kept my eye laser focused on him as I walked. I am in front of large audiences all the time so the attention that I received at my wedding was no different from that being the center of attention doesn’t bother me whatsoever. But I do understand for most people it is a struggle. I would say just relax and concentrate on him and tune everybody else out. Hope this helps

I definitely did not feel the butterflies until the day before and then the moments before walking down the aisle i could really feel the nerves

I was so nervous that I was going to trip! I even had the hem raised a little bit higher than floor length in the front because my open toed shoes were catching the tulle.



I had butterflies the whole morning leading up to the ceremony but then something unexpected happened that made me laugh right before the doors opened for me to walk down the aisle. From there I couldn't stop smiling! (The unexpected thing was the DJ playing the wrong song and my dad's horrified reaction was so extreme it made me laugh and relax).

I think this is normal. I don’t mind the attention, but as the time gets near and near I can feel myself getting a tad bit nervous lol

Our venue requires my dad and I to walk down stairs (plus the entire wedding party), so I am a bit nervous about tripping.. that being said, that would totally be me, so if it happens, I anticipate everyone laughing it off

I was a nervous wreck waiting to walk down the aisle. I am like you and I don’t like being the center of attention either but once I got down the aisle to my husband I was fine. All of the nerves went away. I think it is normal to feel this way

And then we are reciting our vows to each other. I'm kinda nervous speaking in front of ppl .I think I'm going to work on that with some of my friends. To get some practice in .

I think part of that was that I was with my best friend and we were getting married and that we were ourselves. My husband ease my mind bc he was being himself and silly which took a load off and everyone was laughing because of him and my cousin who officiated our wedding. It was hilarious bc my husband wanted to kiss me before we were supposed to. We had created such a environment that I no longer worried or nervous at all. All this to say is that everything will be wonderful and beautiful that you will not be nervous or worried about the guests. Best of luck on your wedding

I'm nervous a Lil my biggest fear is falling. Lol that's it tho. I guess you could practice walking in your heels and smiling. Heck idk. Lol💜

That's a great story. We want everything to be perfect but the snafus are going to happen. That is part of life. I hope the song was not too bad.
