View Quoted Comment I know theres so much up in the air but they’ve been really helpful. They gave us a few options like postponing with no charge, still planning for October but still being able to postpone as we get closer or using the money we put down to go towards food when they open up in the future.


So I’m still going to plan for October bc they won’t charge us a fee. I’m going to print out a blurb for my invitations asking my guests to check the wedding websites for updates. I may even ask them to include their emails/phone numbers on their RSVP so I can contact them if need be.

View Quoted Comment Not yet because the Mid Hudson region is still in phase 1. I believe their venue would be able to open in phase 2 or 3. As other states have been opening wedding venues those governors have been specifying a number of guests allowed. It’s not up to the venue but its state by state. So only time will tell.

View Quoted Comment I think so too. It really is nerve wracking not knowing! A lot goes into wedding planning beyond the logistics. We put a lot of emotion, time and effort into it. No matter what, our efforts will not go to waste!


We’re still planning on getting married on our day either way. Just will be with immediate family and hold the reception on another day need be.

View Quoted Comment It’s honestly really hard to tell. I think things won’t be completely back to normal but I believe there will be some normalcy. Trust me, I think about it everyday hoping things will be better by October. We just have to wait and see.
