My hubs and I are getting married at the end of October. It is time to send out our save the dates but we are moving in 2 months! Should we put our new address on the envelopes

My fiancé and I are in the same boat with figuring out where we’re moving. We decided to put my parents address so we don’t have to worry about it. We did the same with the wedding registry.

No, otherwise the post office will return any undeliverable mail to the wrong address.

I would put one of your parents addresses so you don't have to worry!

I would do your parents address or your current address. We had no problems when changing addresses at the post office. I think it cost $1 to have your mail forwarded. Even after the timeframe expired, we both still received forwarded mail for most things. We did have some returned STDs and most were returned within 2 weeks. We did have a straggler or two that were returned a month or so after sending out.

Parents address, or MOH/Best Man, get a P.O. box for a few months.

If you are sending save the dates, I'm not sure why anyone would need to know your address. They won't be mailing anything to you. They would only be sending replies in response to the actual invitations.

This. Based on your wedding date, your invitations should be going out after you move. At that point, sure, absolutely use the new address. But for STDs nobody needs to send anything back to you so just use your current address and have the new address on the invitations when you send those out.

Either parent's addresses or your current one. USPS offers free address forwarding when you move and you can do it online. This is what FH and I have done all throughout college since we moved so much during that time!

But really, for STDs, no one will be sending you back anything so you shouldn't need to worry about the address on there!
