What am i missing?

JENN, on February 23, 2020 at 9:34 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

We are 54 days out. I have this horrible feeling I'm forgetting something because it feels like I don't really have anything to do/plan?!?

We have all our services booked and final payment dates in for officiant, photography, food, venue, floral, dj and bartender. I have an appointment for a hair and make up consult. All the decorations are bought and hanging out in my guest bedroom. Rings are in the safe. Cant get marriage license just yet. Dress is at alterations shop, hes got his suit picked out for him and his guys. My girls have their dresses in already. Shoes and accessories and gifts bought for all. Not doing favors. Venue provides majority of set up and tear down. We just have to get our personal effects out, they do the rest. We are going home the night of the wedding so no hotel is needed the night of the wedding. Still deciding on night before for me. He will stay home. We live minutes from our venue so that works well.

I know I need to purchase the alcohol and such but what else am i missing. Plates, cups, etc are taken care of. Budget is on track and we are good. Honeymoon is booked.

I'm going crazy thinking I'm forgetting something....probably something big that I wont think of until day of. Ladies, help me out. I'm stressed out thinking I'm not stressed enough lol .

Thanks!

Lol it seems like you’re on top of everything. Bridesmaids dresses? Jewelry for your dress? Limo if you’re using one??

I'm April as well- what I have left to do-

Wait on RSVPs and make seating assignments, give final count to venue & catering

Finalize timeline and touch base with all vendors

Prepare tips and thank you cards for vendors

Making appointment to get my hair done (colored and cut), nails, wax

Order food for getting ready room on day of for me & bridesmaids

Day of getting read food! Thank you . I tend to forget to eat on a daily basis anyway so this never crossed my mind.

I need to get on the nail game too, mine are pathetic.

Signage is being handled by venue. Day of bag is genius.

You guys are great! Thank you!

Hey there fellow April bride! What about day of emergency kit? Are you guys writing your own vows or doing pre written ones? If there are guests staying at hotels, some people create little welcome bags with watervogels, Advil, and snacks in them. Programs?

Gift or letter for your groom? menu/pacecards/seating chart? Welcome bags for out of town guests in your hotel block?
