The day was amazing! Being in the Northern Nevada area and with smoke from two California fires, we got lucky and had almost blue skies (which we hadn't had 10 days prior to the wedding)!
Only a couple of things went wrong, which in looking back were nothing. First was that my bouquet fell off the counter and I lost a couple of petals (it happened in slow motion and no one could get there in time). Second was when I got into the golf cart to head to the ceremony location the eye hook on my dress popped.
We had a great day and we got so many compliments on our décor, setup & lists for our vendors (Excel is your friend). Being prepared is essential when you don't hire a wedding planner!
