What are the things people will not buy off registry?

I bought someone cutting board oil (it was on the registry...) so the most random things can get purchased. I was looking for a small gift to add to some cash at the bridal shower since I think just cash is boring at a shower.

We added whatever we wanted so if it doesn't get bought, we can use the discount to buy it ourselves!

Maybe not duct tape, a tarp, and a shovel...

If you have BBB put whatever you want/need on the list even if you think people won't buy it. Because they give you a discount on stuff not bought.

We thought of it like this... we are registering for everything we really want or need. If no one else buys it, we get a discounted price to go back ourselves lol

Lol I put a 275 hair dryer on our registry..... yep, no one got it for me.

I totally registered for a snow shovel; not sure if anyone will purchase it. But, it is something practical that we will use.

Some registries offer big discounts for things not bought (like Crate and Barrel has this furniture and I fully intend to utilize it). So put what you'd like on there! You might be pleasantly surprised with what people will get.
