What Are You Doing For Table Numbers?

What is everyone doing for table numbers? Are you creating them yourself, or buying them already made? Are you incorporating them into your centerpieces? Any specific theme you were trying to fit?

Here are what mine look like. They are wooden hexagons with numbers inside. I found these on Amazon for cheaper than I anticipated! We were looking for something simple, cheap, and easy to assemble, and these seemed to fit the description. We haven't decided yet if we're going to paint them, or leave them as-is, or decorate them further.

Our decorator/florist provided our table numbers. I believe she got them from Amazon. I picked glittery sparkly table numbers because silver was one of the accent colors and I love glitter. I left it up to her as to how she displayed them. As you can see she used little stands to place them in.

I opted out of table numbers or even tables with COVID

50% off is a great deal!! I agree that they're not worth stressing too much over or spending too much on. Those look clear, easy to read, and formal enough! Great find!

I wrote (in my sad, pathetic handwriting) the table names on little chalkboard easels.

Those are cute! I love the glitter. Sparkly silver is one of my wedding colors, and we're looking for little ways to incorporate it without covering the whole place in sparkles lol. Those look like they worked perfectly for your table numbers!

Makes sense! Bummer that COVID is changing so many plans, but things usually have a way of working out for the best.

I love the mini chalkboards! And your handwriting is definitely readable. Were your tables each named after different Disney couples?

I bought them (and chalk pens) off Amazon. Yes - we had Goofy & Clarabelle, Mickey & Minnie, Belle & the Beast, Ariel & Prince Eric, Cinderella & Prince Charming, Princess Aurora & Prince Phillip, Aladdin & Princess Jasmine, and Wall-E & Eve. We had a Disneymoon waiting for us, so we had a few nods to Disney at the wedding (the table names and H & the GMs socks lol).

So many cute ideas on this forum! The owner of the venue has a storage room full of supplies (flower girl baskets, ring bearer pillows, table #’s etc) that we can use for free. I need to go look to see what are the options.

Love it!! I think it's such a fun idea when people use something other than numbers for the tables, and instead come up with creative names. I really like how you incorporated Disney into your wedding, especially since you were going there for your honeymoon! Thank you for sharing!

That's exactly what we tried to do as well. Besides the table numbers our cake topper and the tablecloth on our sweetheart table were sparkly silver. Silver was also the color I asked all of my bridesmaids to wear for their shoes.

I agree, I've seen so many really creative ideas on these forums, I love seeing what everyone comes up with! That's so cool that you can use those for free, I wish more venues would do that. I'm sure you'll find some good options when you go to see what they have. Are you hoping they have anything in particular?

We are likely doing table numbers that show pictures of us at each age that corresponds to the table number. We haven’t picked the exact template yet, but some examples are below. We love family photos and thought it would be a cute idea!

Very cool! Love the sparkly tablecloth idea. Did all of the other tables have different tablecloths? My fiance and I had a few similar ideas for incorporating the silver. My bridesmaids are wearing sparkly silver shoes, and I bought a table runner for the head table that is sparkly silver. Also got some silver "placemats" for the centerpieces to sit on, and blue and silver sequined curtains for a backdrop. Otherwise, everything else uses our other colors.

The rest of the tables had white tablecloths with a black layover. I wanted ours to be different. The ways you are incorporating silver sound very pretty!

We're doing hexagon table numbers similar to these except it will be fully painted from corner to corner. It'll be painted black with silver text.

These are really cool!! Will they also have the number written out ("One" instead of "1")? I think the silver will look beautiful against the black background!
