What are you doing immediately after the reception?

Are you getting on a plane going straight on the honeymoon? Are you going home? Are you going to a hotel? Since our wedding ends at 4:30, we are going to leave from the reception in a Rolls Royce the venue provides to a hotel at the airport for 1 night. Then leave for our honeymoon the next morning....

The plan is for the bridal party to walk over to the near by bar and have a drink or two then probably head out to a hotel for the night. Not really sure if a honeymoon is going to happen right away, but at least a night away from home in downtown Seattle Smiley winking

The hotel down the street from the venue has a bar so everyone is staying there and partying there, we will join later on

We are going to hopefully not stumble up to our honeymoon suite at the hotel that night, our reception is in the same hotel, that we'll be staying ... I did this 1) because it's free 2) I'm absolutely POSITIVE nobody will bug us and they won't even know where our room is ... to the point, I will bring my dress and at that point husband's tux and stuff to my parents ... as they will have to take back my Dad's, and Brothers' tuxes anyways ... and I know my Mom will get my dress back home and to the cleaners to be perserved in a box (yes I'm doing this, it was an expensive dress and I'm sure my parents would rather I keep taking care of it then just shove it in the back of the closet) 3) All my cousins and other family members have done this. We will either be leaving Sunday afternoon for home or for the honeymoon, again the honeymoon is entirely based on whether or not things work out on my end and we have to go right after the wedding, because FS already put in his vacation.

Our wedding isn't until 5:30 so planning on transportation to a hotel near the airport late that night after the reception but sometimes I think maybe of staying at the same hotel as all of our out of town guests and having breakfast with them. Nah, taking off Sunday am. Plus there are more non stop flights early in the day from our town to Maui.

Our wedding is saturday evening and doesn't end til 1am. We will spend the wedding night in a suite at the hotel where the wedding is held. We have a post wedding party the day after at a place in the city as many of our family and friends will still be in town. We plan to hang around until the Tuesday following the wedding to see people off and wrap up last minute errands and pack for our mini-moon. Then we head off Wednesday to Saturday for the mini-moon.

Our wedding is on a Friday night, we have the reception hall till midnite. We will be getting a hotel that night nearby (since right now we are living between my parents and his parents houses). Then Saturday morning we will have brunch with the family, spend the day with out of town guests and 5:00 a.m. Sunday we will leave for a week to Florida!

Our recepetion ends at 8pm... and we are going STRAIGHT to the hotel. I wanted a bed and breakfast, but after trying without any luck, I changed it to a hotel instead.

Our reception ends at midnight on Friday so we rented a honeymoon suite at a local hotel and will be spending the night there... probably exhausted! Smiley smile

The following day we will have a BBQ with friends/family and open gifts. We are not going on a honeymoon due to over-expenditures for the wedding but may take a few xtra days off to just kick it! Smiley smile

Reception starts at 5 and should be done by 11 and we are in a hotel right next door. Sleep in Sunday and de-stress, have dinner with family in town then leave Monday morning for Vegas. Will be back Friday night so we have the entire next weekend to unpack, clean up, etc before going back to work.

As far as I know we will be heading straight to our house after the wedding, we may stay at our house Sunday night as well because I'm really wanting to do a TTD session. The church we are getting married at is not even half a mile from our house.. so its all very very convienent thankfully Smiley smile So now we just have to decide if we want to do the TTD session the day after and either leave after that is done or just wait until Monday to leave to go on the honeymoon. Realisticly we can do either.. we are going to Myrtle Beach for our honeymoon and its a 5 hour drive at the most from where we live, so really it all depends on what check in times are for the resort we are staying at. Or... unless I decide to do a TTD session after we get back from the honeymoon.. then we will just be staying at our house the night of the wedding and leave Sunday for our honeymoon

Ours also ends ealry (4:00) because the venue closes at sunset. We are hoping to have time to take showers and hop on a plane that same night. We shall see, though.

Our reception will be ending around 11 - right after that we are having a small after party for any guests who are staying at the B&B with us then we are spending our first night as husband and wife on property at the B&B. That is probably my favorite thing about our venue - everything from the pre-wedding stuff to the night of is all at the same location so we do not have to drive anywhere. Since we are getting married on a Friday - Saturday will be spent with our out of town guests and such then we leave early Sunday morning for our flight to go on our honeymoon.
